Rats forced the grounding of an Air India aircraft that arrived in New Delhi from Kolkata as the plane was taken to a remote bay for fumigation. The crew of the Airbus A-321, operating flight AI-021 from Kolkata, found a rat in the rear of the aircraft, airline sources said. New Delhi: A legal issue became an obstacle between a cow and its calf when a Delhi Court Monday refused to pass an order on a plea seeking release of the cow from the custody of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to suckle the calf. Langurs are here in Delhi to keep monkeys away from the Commonwealth Games venues in the city. For this the civic authorities are now ‘deploying' langoors. The New Delhi Municipal Council has brought in 10 langoors, in addition to the 28 which are already used, to chase away monkeys from near the Games venues, an official said.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has constituted a special team for making rounds of all Games venues facing monkey menace. Langur are used in parts of New Delhi to scare away other monkeys who create a menace around the Commonwealth Games venues, a New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) official said on Monday.

Man who was 26 years old died & two of his friends & a shopkeeper fell ill, after drinking a soft drink in Seelampur area of north-east Delhi. The police suspect that the drink, which was being sold under the name of a multinational company was adulterated. Police have sent the samples for a lab. test.
The incident happened around 7.45 pm on Friday & all four victims were residents of Chauhan Bangar. They were rushed to LNJP hospital where Kamaruddin 26 years old was declared dead around 9.30 pm. The other victime cousins Sabbab Ahmed 30 years old & Mohammad Arshad 25 years old & shopkeeper Jamil Ahmed 40 years old were reported to be out of danger. All of them had taken a sip out of the bottle from which Kamaruddin was drinking, after he complained that the drink had a weird taste.

As per Kamlakant the head-gardener of Jawahar Gulab Vatika, located right outside the V-C's office, "Every year around Valentine's Day, students insist on plucking the roses from the vatika. Every time you board an aircraft, you hear the standard pre-takeoff announcement of overhead oxygen masks falling in case of fall in cabin pressure. Most passengers feel this will never happen and don’t pay attention to it, but a recent Air India flight from Delhi to Mumbai flew all the way with the masks hanging over the heads of passengers.
The bizarre incident, a serious breach of established safety procedures, took place on AI’s Boeing 747 as it winged its way from Delhi to Mumbai on February 4. It was a real family drama which otherwise is seen normally in a Bollywood film. A 32-year-old placement agency owner was bashed up by his wife at a place where he was preparing to marry another woman. The incident took place in Central Delhi’s Prasad Nagar.
The police said the accused, Mukesh Khanna, had been married to Reena from Jharkhand for four years. The couple also has a two-year-old child. Aniket has already created an unofficial world record by squeezing himself under a row of 57 four-wheel drive cars in 45 seconds.
With legs split, chest bent forward and chin almost skimming along the road, Aniket is no more than eight inches above the ground when he vanishes under the vehicles in Belgaum, India.
