Wives Union to Beat Husbands

We have heard of husbands beating their wives. But have you ever heard of wives beating their husbands. Not even that, here is a case in which wives have made a union & as per that they together beat the husband of a particular wife in that union. Finding interesting, here is more of it. What a wife should do if his husband do not earn a single penny? Not even that, what if he smokes cigarettes & drinks alcohol with the wife's money? Much more than that, what if most of the husbands in a village do like that.

Yes, exactly the same scenario is happening in Madanpur, Kishorpur etc. 20 villages of Kanpur District in Uttar Pradesh - India. In these villages, most of the husbands don't do any work whole of the day & they drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes & gamble with the hard earned money of their wives. Getting fed up with their useless husbands, all of the wives of these husbands have made a Union of sort & the main agenda of these union of wives is to beat their husbands, if anyone of them is found drinking alcohol or found gambling. Whenever, the union of wives find any single husband among them drinking alcohol, they together beat that husband with sticks. Same happens to one who is found gambling. In their villages this beating is also called " Pati Peeto Aandolan" i.e. Movement for beating husbands.

The only solace to these husbands who are beaten up by the union of wives is that when these wives are beating the hapless husband, mother of that husband comes to his rescue & takes care of him from these lioness wives.

So can you find such weird stories about such brave wives in any other parts of the world, that's why it is said that such weird & strange happenings happen only in India. All these are true incidents which have been shown on Indian Telivision ( TV) also.
