30,000 join tea party - record made

As more than 30,000 people raised their designer cups and took a sip of tea, Indore city of Madhya Pradesh state of India set a new record for hosting the largest tea party.

"A six-year-old Indian boy, Aniket Chindak is hoping to enter the record books after limbo-skating under 57 cars in less than a minute."

A six-year-old Indian boy, Aniket Chindak is hoping to enter the record books after 'limbo-skating' under 57 cars in less than a minute.

Aniket has already created an unofficial world record by squeezing himself under a row of 57 four-wheel drive cars in 45 seconds.

With legs split, chest bent forward and chin almost skimming along the road, Aniket is no more than eight inches above the ground when he vanishes under the vehicles in Belgaum, India.

World record-breaking puja performed in Jaipur

Over 5,000 people, including 3,510 priests, participated in a massive 'bhumi puja'(Ground breaking ceremony for a new project) for a condo homes project in Jaipur in Rajasthan state of India, simultaneously breaking the ground with shovels, to set a Guinness world record for such an event.

Kim Lacey from Guinness World Records, who had flown down from London to adjudicate, witnessed the event. 'This is truly amazing. I have never seen such an event before. Indian man with longest beard

In India's Rajasthan state, there is one person Ram Singh Chauhan, aged 54 years who works for a tourist company.He amazes tourists & other people with his 3.5 meter long beard. He has not cut his beard since 1982 when he started growing it.

Now he wants to enter the Guinness book of world records for having the longest beard in the world. He has to spend 2 hrs daily to comb his long beard. For maintaining such a long beard he applies mustard and coconut oil daily.

***Below is another picture of an Indian Sadhu / Saint with long beard. For this Sadhu, it is a type of penance to keep this beard. He too has not cut his beard for quite some years.
