Golden jubilee of marital discord

It's a golden jubilee all right, but of marital discord. A 90-year-old retired IPS officer and his 70-year-old lecturer wife - estranged for almost half a century - have dragged their matrimonial dispute to the Delhi High Court.

Now, even as it grapples with Vimla Balani's appeal against a civil court's decision to dissolve her marriage to Jai Krishan Balani, the HC's immediate attention is focussed on a much more pressing problem.

Living Father's last rites performed by son

In another weird incident, a man of Manihari block in Katihar district of Bihar state of India, 'Pankaj Singh' , who's father is still alive, performed his father's last rites and burned an effigy also to protest against his father's lavish lifestyle. As per a report, father had sold off the family land & son was having dispute over that with his father.
