24-hr security for Roses

This Valentine's Day gardener Kamlakant at Delhi University has been entrusted with guarding the most precious outdoor exhibits in Delhi University's treasury — the roses in the V-C's garden.

As per Kamlakant the head-gardener of Jawahar Gulab Vatika, located right outside the V-C's office, "Every year around Valentine's Day, students insist on plucking the roses from the vatika. When we refuse permission, they steal the flowers. Now, we've been asked to keep constant guard on the flowers on February 13 and 14."
