Indian police want to put severed head in museum

It's only Weird Mentality of Police force in Jharkhand state of India in eastern India that they want to display in a museum the head of a woman decapitated after she was accused of practicing witchcraft, hoping it will be a lesson for those who persecute innocent women. How weird & rather horiffic is the mentality of the police force over there!!!!!!!!!

Weird Child-dropping ritual

A Weird ritual of dropping children between one and five years from a height of up to 20 feet in a Karnataka village to fulfil a vow to the gods will be banned, a senior state official has said.

The annual ritual takes place in December at the Shiva Parvathi temple coinciding with the village fair in Nidoni village in Bijapur district in this southern Indian state otherwise known globally for its software and outsourcing industry.

Here is an artiste from Mumbai formerly known as Prince, who changed his name to Aminusone Plusfive (A-1+5) two years ago. His earlier name was Jawed Shaikh Nawab.

As per him the seemingly random numerals have a deep significance, explains the 45-year-old. On April 1, 2005, the man formerly known as Nawab opened a restaurant and called it A-1+5 Snack and Juice Centre, after the date on which it began operations. The minus and plus signs were included because as Mr Plusfive says, "Our life is full of minuses and pluses. 1) Radhakant Bajpai holds a record for growing his ear hair more than five inches long.

Weird way to Woo Single Women in 5-star hotels

As per one report in Mid Day, Hotel Renaissance, a Five-star hotel at Powai in Mumbai city in India is wooing single women in a unique, exciting rather weird, bizarre ways.

Every woman eating a meal alone at the hotel’s Lake View Café will be given a glass bowl with a male goldfish called Louis.

The motive behind the idea is to ensure single women have company while dining alone. Said Prerna Uppal, assistant manager, marketing, “The fish ensures that the woman does not dine alone. She can toy with the fish, so that she enjoys her meal without getting bored.

You pay: No extra charges for the goldfish, you pay for what you eat (and it doesn’t include Louis).

Suicide Shirt up for grabs

It may sound weird but it is true. People of Kataritola village in Hazaribagh district, 110 km from Ranchi, in Jharkhand state of India fought among themselves to get a piece of a shirt used by a youth to commit suicide.

The people were driven by a superstition that if any material used for hanging is kept in the house, it brings prosperity, the villagers said.

The incident happened in front of the police. A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree using his shirt. Police reached the village and were trying to find out the reason behind the suicide after bringing down the body when the villagers started to fight for the shirt.

"There is strong belief in our society that if the material used in hanging is kept in the house, it brings prosperity and help to the family economically. It also helps in court cases. Considering the belief people tried to get a piece of the cloth," said Snehi Ram, a resident of the village.
