In Ahmedabad in Gujarat state of India a 17-year-old boy duped and abducted his friend so that he could demand Rs 5 lakh ransom. In the end, he choked Lokesh Dadwani (17) to death by shoving his elbow in his throat — in true WWE style.

The boy, who was arrested on Tuesday, told police that he and Lokesh had plotted the kidnapping to get the money from his father. "He is an avid fan of the wrestling shown on TV," said a police officer. Police, however, said Lokesh's family didn't get any ransom call. Goon-turned MLA bashes TV reporters

Meet Anant Singh who is a Janata Dal (U) legislator in Bihar State of India & is having several crimes under his belt.

As per TV reports, Singh and his musclemen roughed up three media reporters after holding them hostage for a few hours. Two reporters and a cameraman were injured in the assault that left them with serious cuts and bruises including a few broken bones.

Prakash Singh and Habib Ali, who work for a private news channel, had gone to Singh's house seeking his reaction on the murder of a girl who had alleged sexual exploitation by him.

The MLA has been arrested. The two journalists who were held hostage by Singh and beaten with rifle butts and lathis.
