On this Christmas 'Santa Claus' is everywhere & yes on the sea beach at Puri in Orrisa State of India. But the difference is that it is 100 Feet long & is a sand sculpture created on a sea beach to attract the Christmas crowds. It has been created by Indian sand sculptor Sudarshan Pattnaik & some 1000 tonnes of sand was used for the sculpture, which is 100 feet long, 30 feet wide and 15 feet high. It took artist, 40 hours of nonstop work to create this Santa Claus.

Many Tourists, Locals & Foreigners are flocking the beach to see this Santa Claus. Sculptor Sudarshan Pattnaik was supported by about 100 laborers, 17 other budding artistes out of which seven of them are girls & all are the students of the sand art school run by Pattnaik only.
