Crocodile in a House Well

In a village Magilipatti near Kulithalai in Tamil Nadu State of India, a seven feet long crocodile was spotted in a well in the garden of a house. As per a report in The Hindu, the poor reptile fell accidentally into the house well. After spotting the reptile in the well, people informed the police, the Fire Services and the Forest department & they rescued & took away the female crocodile. They gave first aid to the crocodile before being let her into the Cauvery river.

The huge reptile who had spent one whole night in the well, felt hungry and had gobbled up all the fish in the well to satiate her hunger. Rescue operation lasted about one and half hours & crocodile twitched and turned violent during the rescue operation but rescuers caught full control on the reptile & were successful in taking the reptile out of the well without causing any harm to the crocodile..........
