NEW DELHI Police on Monday arrested a man who allowed his 9-year-old son to drive his Ferrari in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
Mohammed Nisham was arrested on charges of endangering the life of a child and allowing a minor to drive, said Inspector Biju Kumar.
He was later released after posting bail of 5,000 rupees ($92), Kumar said. Read more.........

Kolkata: A daredevil Indian who held the Guinness World Record for covering the longest distance on a zip-line while hanging by his hair has died while performing a stunt, officials said on Monday.
Sailendra Nath Roy, a 49-year-old police officer, was attempting to cross the turbulent River Teesta on Sunday in the state of West Bengal on a 180-metre (594-foot) wire above the water.
After attaching his shoulder-length hair to a pulley on the wire, Mr Roy had completed about half of the distance but he then became entangled and found himself unable to move, an AFP photographer at the scene said. Read more.........

The chief minister of the Indian state of West Bengal wants to increase a tax on cigarettes and tobacco products by 10 percent as a way of raising revenue to provide funds to thousands of investors who were defrauded of their life savings by a private investment company called the Saradha Group.
Sudipta Sen, a businessman who ran the fraudulent investment scheme, has been arrested.

MANGALORE: Demand for 'Gomutra Arka', a medicine distilled out of cow urine, is on the rise in the city. An arka manufacturer on the outskirts of the city, who supplies around 10 litres a day, claims that even the educated are using the ayurvedic preparation regularly to prevent diseases.
