NEW DELHI Police on Monday arrested a man who allowed his 9-year-old son to drive his Ferrari in the southern Indian state of Kerala.

Mohammed Nisham was arrested on charges of endangering the life of a child and allowing a minor to drive, said Inspector Biju Kumar.

Daredevil Stunt kills man while zip-lining by his Hair

Kolkata: A daredevil Indian who held the Guinness World Record for covering the longest distance on a zip-line while hanging by his hair has died while performing a stunt, officials said on Monday.

Sailendra Nath Roy, a 49-year-old police officer, was attempting to cross the turbulent River Teesta on Sunday in the state of West Bengal on a 180-metre (594-foot) wire above the water.

Junagarh, Gujarat: A diamond trader tossed notes worth over a crore rupees into the air at a popular folk song programme organised by the BJP in the Talala village in Gujarat's Junagarh district on Saturday.

The programme, called Daira, was organised by some builders to raise fund for cow protection. The builders from Surat, Rajkot and Ahmedabad organised the event to raise funds in view of water scarcity in the region. MANGALORE: Demand for 'Gomutra Arka', a medicine distilled out of cow urine, is on the rise in the city. An arka manufacturer on the outskirts of the city, who supplies around 10 litres a day, claims that even the educated are using the ayurvedic preparation regularly to prevent diseases.

Govanithashraya Trust manufactures gomutra arka at its goshala (cow shelter) in Beejaguri at Pajeer, 26 km from the city. Shahdol: A 26-year-old man from Patera Tola village in Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh married for the eighth time, deserting all his earlier wives. Umendra Prasad Mahra tied the knot recently on February 7.

His sixth wife Devki Bhai Mahra had complained about him before Vandana Mandavi, a member of the Madhya Pradesh Women's Commission.
