BANGALORE: Karnataka's legislators are literally getting ahead of technology. MLAs here have demandedthat each of them be given an iPad3 - which, incidentally, Apple is yet to launch.

The MLAs' demand comes in the wake of their counterparts in the legislative council receiving an iPad2 last month. How much Indian money is stashed away in Swiss banks???

Now it is an open secret that hoards of Indian black money is stashed away in Swiss banks. Whether it is corrupt politicians of India or all such businessmen or other such people who earn money by wrong means. Here below is a paragraph from TOI report which says about the black money of Hassan Ali Khan but also about the approximate sum of black money hoarded in Swiss banks by all such Indians.

"Pune businessman and racehorse owner Hassan Ali Khan was raided by the Income Tax department, Mumbai in 2007 and found to be operating a bank account in UBS, Zurich with a sum of over $8 billion. That raid spawned a host of investigations against Khan. The documents of the account were recovered from his Pune house. Estimates of the total Indian money stashed away in Swiss banks is around $1,410 billion."

Oh!!!! God, the sum stashed away in Swiss banks by these corrupt people is around $1,410 billion. In Indian Rupees it comes out to be Rs. 67,68,000 Crores or Rs. 67,680,000 Millions. So now you can see how much Indian Taxpayers money is stashed away in Swiss banks only. It is only a fraction of the total money stashed away in all different banks of the world.

When Barbers refused to give Haircut or Shave to Politicians

AKOLA/NAGPUR: Politicians in the state can keep their hair on. They may soon face Gandhigiri with a startling twist. Maharashtra’s barber community has decided not to give them a haircut or a shave because they have not done anything about the barbers’ demand for scheduled caste status.

Not only will the barbers refuse services to politicians but they will also not vote in either state or parliamentary elections as a mark of protest. Speaking to TOI, Gajanan Kathale, leader of Maharashtra Nabhik Yuvak Sena said, “Ours is a long pending demand but nobody is giving any thought to it. Those who belong to caste and sub-castes in Nabhik Samaj are backward and poor. Also, the education level of our members is also not that high. Hence, we need to be included in the SC category.”

Lavish Lifestyle of Bihar Politicians in Jails

In India it is no surprise that many politicians are serving the jail sentences due to their criminal record. But what shall be your reaction when you come to know that these politicians are living a royal lifestyle even in the prison & they get , whatever, they want inside the prison. They get special food , mineral water, they consume alcohol and use mobile phones also in the jail.

As per one report in Daily India, one JD-U's suspended legislator Sunil Pandey came to the Bihar State Assembly from Patna's Beur Jail after consuming alcohol & in a drunken condition. Police then came to know of it & conducted an alcohol test and found that Pandey was really under the influence of liquor. Sunil Pandey currently is facing more than three dozen ( more than 36) criminal cases including those of murder, abduction and extortion. There are others like Mohammad Shahabuddin, Pappu Yadav, Anand Mohan Singh etc. who also do get, whatever, is demanded by them inside the jail. Of course all this is happening with the collusion of jail staff with these politicians. It's absolutely weird to know of such things happening in jails.

Such lawlessness in Jails of Bihar needs to be checked. Criminalization of politics also needs to be checked & such laws should be framed, that no person with criminal record is allowed to contest elections in the first place, which is otherwise nowadays in India. Indian political system needs to be cleaned of all these people with criminal record.
