Just think what shall happen if in your town 120 elephants suddenly invade & create chaos. As per a report , It actually happened in Hojai, a town 105 miles south-east of Gauhati, the capital of Assam state. When elephants roamed the streets of the town wildlife officials & police tried to disperse them by firing in the air, by bursting firecrackers and beating the drums. Thousands of residents of Hojai have to run for their lives. In all this running two persons were injured. In all that chaos followed, elephants damaged several bamboo houses while retreating. Hojai has a population of around 100 000.
