32,000 Weddings in Delhi on December, 13th!!!!!!!!!!!!

As per one report in Times Of India, December 13 is an auspicious day for Hindu marriage & on this day there shall be almost 32,000 weddings in Delhi - India only. Now, whether 13 is unlucky for some people or not, but certainly for 32,000 couples, it is going to be a lucky number & they shall remember this day, whole of their life time. Earlier on November, 02, 2006, in one single day, around 10,000 Marriages took place in New Delhi, the Capital of India. That day was also considered most auspicious day as per the Hindu marriage system.

If an average, expenditure of Indian Rupees 10 lakh ( around US$ 22,000) per wedding shall occur on that day, that mean almost Indian Rs 3,200 crore (around US$ 710 Million) shall be spent in one day on December 13, 2006 . Weird Figures indeed.
