Mother of 17 Children Rewarded US$ 350

In India where population is increasing at phenomenal pace, Government is trying all means to control this population explosion. But what if in one state of India a woman is rewarded for having 17 children , yes it has happened in Meghalaya State of India. Here a tribe council - The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) is encouraging the mothers to bear more babies with cash rewards for doubling its population.

As per the Council their Khasi and Jaintia tribes can get extinct if they do not encourage bigger families. So to encourage the people to have more children, they have rewarded a mother in the tribe which is having 17 children with a cash prize of Indian Rupees16,000 (US $ 350) & the council now plans to offer more of such cash rewards to all mothers who are having 15 or more children!!!!!!!!!

So what shall you say to such weird thinking of these people who are adding fuel to already exploding Indian population. May God save India.
