Gandhigiri of Half Moustache Commandant

Here is Mr.Shiv Charan Jha who is a CRPF commandant in Jammu, who was suspended from the services a year ago. He is now protesting in, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Gandhigiri style. He has shaved off his half moustache & is saying that he shall neither shave off other half moustache, nor grow the half shaved off moustache, till people who suspended him do not apologies for wrongly suspending him. Here in the picture, he is at a press conference in Jammu. Do you find it weird?
