To buy Onions, Chief Minister's Wife Seeks Loan

In a bid to rub it in, the wife of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Thursday filled up an application for a bank loan - to buy onions!

Sadhna Singh is also vice-president of the women's cell of the state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who took part in a street protest here against the soaring prices of onions.

Engineer killed for 'not funding' CM's birthday party

AURAIYA (UP): An executive engineer of Public Works Department (PWD) was allegedly lynched by some unidentified persons, believed to be supporters of the local BSP MLA here, about 100 kms from Kanpur.

According to a report lodged with the police by Shashi Gupta, wife of deceased M K Gupta, two unidentified men entered their house in Gail Vihar in Dibiyapur forcibly on Tuesday night and started beating her husband badly. The Haryana's "missing" deputy chief minister, Chander Mohan, 43, has resurfaced in Jaipur to confess, over television from hiding that he married a second time, and to do that changed his religion. Chander has two children from his first wife.
Son of former chief minister of Haryana Bhajan Lal, Mohan was sacked from the state Cabinet following his prolonged absence from work. Ranchi :Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren's refusal to burn the effigy of Ravana has prompted followers of the demon king to invite him for offering prayers on Vijaya Dashami.

Ranchi, Sep.21 (ANI): Sudhir Mahto, the Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand, was a furious and an embarrassed man on Friday after finding his personal belonging missing from the State Assembly, the building of the State Legislature.

"I really don't know how should I react. Sometimes it seems so funny. How can I loose my bag that too from Assembly? It's really shocking.

I never expected that such kind of a thing can happen inside Assembly too. I lost four mobiles, around 10,000 rupees in cash and some documents," said Sudhir Mahto, the deputy Chief Minister. When a Cow Attacked Chief Minister

Raipur (Chhattisgarh): It’s not the Maoists, a cow made a vain attempt to attack Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh at an official function in Rajnandgaon.
