Mahatma Gandhi asked to appear for a Training program

Mahatma Gandhi, was a major political and spiritual leader of India and the Indian independence movement. He was born on 2 October 1869 & was shot dead by a Hindu fanatic on 30 January 1948. Though around 60 years have passed since he passed away, here is an interesting episode in which "State Bank of India" in a letter sent at his "Sabarmati Ashram" asked Mahatma Gandhi for a pre-examination training program for a Bank Exam!!!!!!!!!This was no case of snail mail. The letter was from State Bank of India's central recruitment and promotion department in Mumbai asking Mahatma Gandhi to report for this training camp for bank clerks at AG Teacher's college in Navrangpura between June 16-21. Incredible - it happens only in India. Read more here at TOI.............................SBI to test Bapu as bank babu!
