Aircraft hits Neelgai (Blue Bull)

As many as 47 passengers of Air India flight -- IC 7801 -- from Delhi to Kanpur -- had a miraculous escape after the aircraft hit a wild cow on the Kanpur airport runway on Thursday (February 28).

The Air India flight IC-7801 hit a Neelgai (blue bull) as it came down on the runway and suffered an extensive damage to its nose with about a 1 feet deep hole. One of the propellers of the aircraft, a 48-seater ATR, was damaged. All passengers have escaped unhurt and have been sent to Allahabad via taxi.
