'Laden' arrested for serial killings

Subodhan Kumar alias Laden not only shares his name with al-Qaeda chief but is known to have unleashed terror in Bihar by a series of killings. This Laden cut his victims after receipt of ransom money. On Sunday the Patna police in Bihar State of India arrested Subodhan, who was elusive to the police for 11 long years, from a place under Gandhi Maidan police station of Patna for illegal possession of firearms. This Laden is from Sabani village of Bakhtiarpur & acted at a place in Gopalpur village of Nalanda district in Bihar. His modus operandi was to lure young people to the parties he organized and then butchered them. He has confessed to killing at least nine people, including a Kashmiri, since 1995.
