Tibetan monk Crawls to reach Bodh Gaya

In a bizarre journey, a Buddhist monk 'Gyansen Lama' from Tibet is crawling all the way to Bodh Gaya in Bihar state of India. He started his journey crawling from Tibet 18 months ago & shall offer special prayers at the 1,500-year-old Mahabodhi temple near the Bodhi tree at Bodh Gaya, under which Buddha attained enlightenment. He shall complete his unusual pilgrimage in the next few months.

'Gyansen Lama' covers seven kilometers daily on an average & is accompanied by two more monks, who take care of his health and daily needs during the journey. Read more...........Crawling Tibetan monk enters Bihar
