Backstreet Dogs - 50,000 in numbers

They are there in the streets, on roads, in lanes, near houses, shops etc. etc. They are everywhere, chasing pedestrians, two wheelers, cars & any vehicle running on the roads. They are 50,000 in numbers & they are stray dogs those are unleashing terror in the Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu-India.

As per The Hindu report, they are attacking children & one boy who was bitten by a dog have died, while three more children were attacked at the same area. To avoid them, two- wheeler's riders speed up their vehicles to avoid their attack but land up with an accident many times while doing so. Dogs are attacking children after smelling food in their lunch boxes in the morning.

Its high time that Mayor at the Municipal Corporation in Coimbatore take some concrete steps to stop the menace of the stray dogs so that citizens of the city feel safe while moving around the city.
