27 Members Family Gets Rabies

What if Two cows in a family are bitten by a rabid dog & both the cows die of rabies. What if a 27-member family drinks the milk of those cows after being bitten by the rabid dog.

Here in Dakhin Tola in Purnea district of Bihar-India, a farmer's 27-member family drank the milk of those dog bitten cows & now the whole family has been advised by the doctors to vaccinate themselves against the disease & the cost of vaccinations for the whole family shall be Indian Rs.43,000 (US$ 950).
