10,000 Marriages in One Day in Delhi

Yesterday, in one single day, around 10,000 Marriages took place in New Delhi, the Capital of India. The day was considered most auspicious day as per Hindu marriage system. If an average expenditure of Indian Rs 10 lakh ( around US$ 22,000) per wedding has happened, then almost Indian Rs 1,000 crore (around US$ 220 Million) were spent in one day.
