A Hindu Kashmiri Brahmin Baba has mysterious powers to reduce his weight drastically so that he becomes nearly weightless. Such a Baba having curious powers recently appeared in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district. The Bab was staying at a Lord Hanuman temple at Balasarai village in Haradi area of Uttar Pradesh in India.

This mysterious Baba’s supernatural powers have taken the Indian media by storm as no one has actually seen such powers of a Hindu Holy man in recent times. This Baba's traits have been leaving the people & media just awestruck.

This Baba is seen offering prayers and doing Yagna (Hindu Fire ritual) on the top of the Tree. He also makes a bed of tree leaves on the tree top & rests over there and also sleeps on the top of tree leaves just becoming weightless.

People also wonder how and when this mysterious Baba climbs on the tree up and when he comes down. People are thronging at the village site to see the mysterious powers of the Hindu Holy man.

Police is also there at the site to maintain law and order situation at site as lot many people are coming to see this Baba in that village site.

People offer Liquor at Baba Mast Ram Dera in Punjab village

FATEHGARH SHAIB: People not only from Punjab but also from other parts of country offer liquor as 'prasad' at Baba Mast Ram Dera at village Jattana Khurd of district Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab but the youths of the village are becoming liquor addicts.

It may be mentioned here that offering at the dera, which was set up around 50 years ago, is in form of liquor. The dera of Baba Mast Ram is centre of attraction of devotees as people feel that their desires are fulfilled at this place. People having faith in Baba Mast Ram are seen offering prayers for jobs, happiness and success in life.

So many people after fulfillment of their desire, offer 'parsad' of liquor. People also think miraculous cures at the shrine . Though the rationalists debunk these claims but the annual mela at the 'parsad' which held recently, draws hundreds of the people. 92 Kgs Golden throne for Shirdi Sai Baba

As per Indian TV news Channels a devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba has gifted a throne made of 92 kg gold to Sai Baba after the godly saint of Shirdi came into his dream. Apoorva Narayan Reddy is a businessman from Hyderabad who has offered a throne which cost him a whopping Rs 9.5 crore(US$ 2.4 Million).

As per Narayan Reddy, Sai Baba came into his dream in gold form around seven months ago. This inspired him to offer a gold throne at his feet. Throne is made by a company in Bangalore & the throne weighs around 100 kg. More than 92 kg gold was employed in its making.The gold throne reached Shirdi from Bangalore. Sai Baba's place Shirdi is a very sacred and important place of pilgrimage in India.

Sai Baba of Shirdi also known as "Shirdi Sai Baba", was an Indian guru, yogi and fakir who is regarded by his Hindu and Muslim followers as a great saint. Some of his Hindu devotees believe that he was an incarnation of God Shiva.

Sai Baba's millions of disciples, followers and devotees believe that he had performed many miracles. Some of them were: bilocation, curing the incurably sick, helping his devotees in need in a miraculous way, reading the minds of others. Numerous inhabitants of Shirdi talked about these miracles.

Sai Baba's 'Moon miracle' fails

Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh) : As per one India TV channel report, It was a hoax by god man Satya Sai Baba's followers as thousands of people gathered at the airport here Thursday night after word spread that controversial god man Satya Sai Baba would be 'sighted' on the moon - but returned disappointed when the 'miracle' did not happen.

The 81-year-old Sai Baba was also present at the airport and later returned to his 'Prshanti Nilayam' ashram here in Anantapur district, about 500 km from state capital Hyderabad.

It all started when an official of the Sai Trust announced that the god man would make a 'moon appearance' 6-7 p.m., and asked devotees to proceed towards the airport.
Thousands of the Baba's devotees from neighboring villages rushed to the airport but were disappointed as a cloud cover hid the moon. They waited for an hour before dispersing.

Police had a tough time in clearing the traffic on the airport road to enable the Baba to return to his abode amid tight security. There was no word from Sai Trust as to why the 'miracle' failed to materialize.

His devotees believed that the clouds played spoilsport while rationalists termed it an attempt by Sai Trust to revive the Baba's waning popularity.

Indian Quacks

In India Quacks ( fake doctors ) can be seen in any city but here is one who has weird ways of treating his patients. He operates his patients with sword and needle.

In this case a patient suffering from appendicitis chooses to go to a 'surgeon' who is actually a baba / quack.

And believe it or not, this surgeon uses swords to operate upon people, patches them up with adhesive bandages and then gives them blood as medicine and his temporary operation theatre - a temple in Bihar's Vaishali district.

"I have operated with sword and needle. People believe me and that's what matters," says the 'doctor' who goes by the name of Shankar Baba.

Those who undergo surgery are later made to drink the baba's blood to recover fast. The man claims to possess a cure for diseases other than appendicitis too.

His treatment methods include jumping on the stomach and neck of patients, who could be as young as six years old and he charges his patients anything between Indian Rs 51(US$ 1.25) and Rs 500( US$ 12.5) depending on the 'treatment'.

Squirrel Addicted to Bhang (marijuana)

Bhang is a type of weak marijuana. Bhang is widely available in many parts of India and there is only a mild social stigma attached to it compared to smoking marijuana outright. In India, it is an accepted tradition for many to drink Bhang on special occasions, such as during the Holi festival.

Now as per one "India-TV" report, there is a Sadhu / Baba named "Suraj Nath" in Ujjain city in Madhya Pradesh state of India who himself is addicted to "Bhang (marijuana)" & chews this in its coarse form daily many times. He lives over there in Ujjain under a tree & he has made an unusual friendship with a "Squirrel" living up that tree.

Strange thing is that his friend "Squirrel" is also addicted to Bhang (marijuana) which Sadhu shares with the Squirrel. Whenever, Baba Suraj Nath have an urge to chew Bhang (marijuana), he takes small quantity of it on his palm & calls the Squirrel from the tree. Addict Squirrel on hearing the call from Baba comes running down to the Baba & starts chewing the Bhang from his hand.

After eating good quantity of it, Squirrel goes out of control due to its effect & have a nice sleep. Everyday, Baba Suraj Nath offers this Bhang (marijuana) to the Squirrel many times & the little animal is so addicted to it that it likes Bhang more than food or fruits.

Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs are all among the Baba's followers. People also come here with photocopies of their mark sheets, admit cards, passports, love letters and other wishes, which they pin up on the trees.

Ghost Soldier on Duty in Indian Army

We have all seen Smart , young people of their country doing duty in their country's Army. But have anyone seen a Ghost doing duty in the Army of any country.......Yes it happens & happens only in India. Yes, in Indian Army the Ghost of "Baba" Harbhajan Singh who died during the 1962 China - India War still does his duty on Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. The story goes like this......

"Baba" Harbhajan Singh was a soldier in the Indian Army & worked in the Dogra Regiment during 1962 China-India War. This soldier died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim - India while on duty. Mr. Harbhajan Singh got drowned in a glacier during the 1962 China-India War. He was searched for everywhere & he was found three days later and was cremated with full military honours. Legend goes like this that Harbhajan Singh led the Search Party to his body, and later, through a dream, instructed one of his colleagues to build and maintain a Temple/Shrine after him. A shrine was built at his Samadhi in the hills. Army folklore holds Baba is a stickler for discipline and is known to admonish those who do not tow this line.

In the camp at Nathula Pass, a camp bed is kept for him and his boots are polished and uniform is kept ready every night. The sheets are reportedly crumpled every morning and boots muddy by evening. The Ghost soldier continues to draw a salary and takes his annual leave also. Legend also has it that in the event of a war between India and China, Baba would warn the Indian and Chinese soldiers three days in advance.

Chinese do also worship him & during the flag meetings between the two nations at Nathula Post, the Chinese Soldiers have also set a chair aside for the saint. Every year on September 14, a jeep departs with his personal belongings to the nearest railway station, New Jalpaiguri, where it is then sent by train to the village of Kuka, his hometown in Kapurthala district in Punjab.
A small sum is also sent to the mother of this Ghost Soldier each month. Ghost Soldier's name still continues in the army's payrolls, his mother has still been getting his salary cheques and he has also been given all due time bound promotions. Though it may look weird but it is true & Indian Army still honours this soldier like that.

After post death promotions, late soldier is treated as honorary captain. Ghost Soldier gets two months annual leave every year & a First Class berth is booked in the train in his name and his portrait, uniform and other belongings are brought by army officials to his native village Kuka in Kapurthala district for availing of his leave.

This year also under this annual drill, belongings of "Baba" Harbhajan Singh were brought to Jalandhar from New Jalpaigudi by Dibrugarh Express on Thursday night.
A JCO, a Subedar and an Orderly accompanied the belongings. The family of the late soldier received the belongings at the railway station and later proceeded for their native village. On completion of the leave the same team of the army personnel will escort back the belongings to the Nathu La region.

Now what you call of this weird but true story happening in Indian Army. Interestingly, one of his old colleague Mr. Pyara Singh of Jallandhar District of Punjab has put a Court Case against Indian Army & Ministry of Defense for allowing such weird Dead worship of a person who was dead long long ago.

That day, I was going through a website about a US Fat man who walked thousand of kilometers in USA to reduce his weight!!!!!!. O.K. walked for a good cause..........but what would you call this Indian Saint who is going through thousands of Kilometers & who has already covered 1500 Kilometers, Rolling his Body on the Roads / Highways.

What's the Cause ..........Just for Peace all around!!!!!....... Great, In India such saints are not rare but very common at religious places where they perform a type of penance & shall travel to a particular religious place of their devotion, Rolling their Body on the Roads / Highways / Pathways etc. So what's your thoughts about this weird type of penance in which your body is bruised fully......Just try One Kilometer only.........Interesting, Isn't it........
