Shillong, Feb 19 : Pictures of Jesus Christ holding a cigarette in one hand and a beer can in another in a book for primary classes has triggered a row in Meghalaya and the state government is now contemplating legal action against the New Delhi-based publisher.

Patna: Teachers of a school in Bihar's Gaya district burnt books meant to be distributed among students to keep themselves warm on a chilly winter day, angering villagers.

Now a school in Mumbai in Maharashtra state of India has actually included comics as part of their course materials for class VI. 3 year old reads newspapers and books

Here is this three-year old prodigy Arjya Niskam from the steel city of Rourkela in Orissa state of India who surprised everybody when he started reading newspapers and books and the fact is he is yet to start his schooling.

Arjya was born on May 14, 2004 in Rourkela and started reading newspaper headlines when he turned two years and seven months old. Arjya surprised many by reading election papers and slogans for mass education movement all written in Oriya language with clear pronunciation.
