Lecturer steals Car for Girlfriend

A pharmacy lecturer from the city of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh state of india was arrested for stealing a four-wheeler reportedly to take his girlfriend on a joyride. After stealing the car, he drove it to Pondicherry where he repainted the vehicle and also obtained fake documents to avoid getting caught. Lecturer arrested for throwing acid on student

In Andhra Pradesh state of India a lecturer who threw acid at a girl student for rejecting his marriage proposal was arrested last week, police said. Ch. Damodaram, who teaches in a private college in Visakhapatnam, threw acid on K. Kalpana, 19, in Palasa town in Srikakulam district.

Damodaram, who was absconding and had taken shelter at his friend's house in Visakhapatnam, was arrested and brought to Palasa.
