Parineeti Chopra was born on 22 October 1988 in Ambala Cantt, Haryana into a Punjabi family. Her father is Mr. Pawan Chopra and her mother is Mrs. Reena Chopra. Actress Priyanka Chopra, Meera Chopra and Barbie Handa are her cousins. Parineeti Chopra received her early education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Ambala Cantonment. At the age of 17, Parineeti Chopra moved to London, where she received a triple honours degree in business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom. In 2009 she returned to India and joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations (PR) consultant. Later, she signed a three-film deal with the company as an actress. As per one TV interview (broadcasted on Zee TV on 24.08.14), Parineeti Chopra told that she was a Fat Girl when she returned from Manchester to Mumbai after completing her studies over there. As per Parineeti, she used to weigh 86 Kgs, while in Manchester & used to eat a-lot over there as she had a great Urge to eat at that time. In fact, as per Parineeti in TV interview, she told that she used to eat 3 Pizzas a day & lot many Chocolates a day during Manchester days which had put lot of weight on her body. Now Parineeti has made herself smarter after losing weight through strict food discipline & hard working schedule. Indeed she looks much smarter & slimmer now.
