Poverty-stricken woman sells infant to pay debt
Patna, A poverty-stricken woman in Bihar’s Samastipur district sold her one-and-half-year-old malnourished son for Rs.19,000 to pay off a debt. The infant was recovered from the woman who had bought him, police said Tuesday.
