Drunk official forgets to deliver question papers
NAWADA: Scores of examinees went on rampage on the first day of the Intermidiate examination on Tuesday as a drunk education official arrived with question papers an hour after the exams began.
Nawada district education officer Sayeed Akhtar has removed the officer from duty and slapped him with a show cause notice.
Sources said intermediate examinees of economics, biology and commerce subjects at Nagar Madhya Vidyalaya, located in Nawada, resorted to stone-throwing as the question papers were delivered to them at 11 am, instead of scheduled 10 am.
