Last rites of 'corruption'

Patna (Bihar): Two young men have carried out the last rites for the dead in Bihar, not for their ancestors but for corruption, hoping to bury the practice once and for all.

The activity was aimed at sending a message of no corruption.

Shiv Shankar, aged 20, offered pindadan, the last rite according to Hindu religious rituals, seeking salvation for the dead from the cycle of rebirth. Read more................................Two youths carry out last rites of 'corruption'
