Man chops off wife's nose
A man has allegedly chopped off his wife's nose in village Nahal near Aliagrh in Uttar Pradesh state of India, the police said today.
Naresh committed the act yesterday following a dispute with his wife Sonam, who escaped from her husband's house with the help of neighbours who came to her rescue.
The victim's father, in his complaint, said that his daughter was being physically and mentally tortured over dowry demands ever since her marriage a year ago.
