Stray Dogs Menace

Now a days people of Erode & Udhagamandalam in Tamil Nadu - India are facing the menace of stray dogs. There are Hundreds of dogs who are roaming on the roads & every day a minimum of 10 persons are bitten. Issue has been raised by Councilors in the Municipal Council meeting also.

Recently students of Udhagamandalam had a rally demanding steps to tackle stray dog menace shouting slogans like, Down with the Dogs, Catch the Dogs, Save us from Dogs.........



In India all such stray dogs in Indian towns are very common, the only difference is that, somewhere, these are civilized i.e. they don't bite & others are biting dogs as being there in mentioned cities. It's high time Municipal Council Corporations of these cities tackle this issue to stop dogs from biting the people.
