LUCKNOW: Four minors were mortgaged with a moneylender by their parents against a loan of Rs 28,000 to pay a fine imposed on them by the electricity department for using an illegal connection. Non-payment of fine would have led the parents being sent to jail. The parents Sageer and Shareef, who are brothers, are farm labourers living on daily earnings of Rs 45 to Rs 60.
