A wish to gift his wife a handbag on their wedding anniversary landed a man in jail as he was caught snatching a woman's bag in the capital, police said Thursday.

A woman in Mumbai who opened the door to unknown persons carrying a gift box was murdered and robbed of cash and valuables worth Rs 4 lakh.
