
In Gujarat state of India, not only young people but many Senior citizens are seeking to have live-in companions to fill the loneliness in their lives. As per a
report, many male & female Senior people in their 70s want partners with whom they want to travel around the country and world and live the twilight years of their lives.
"I don’t believe that I am ageing. I still work for over eight hours a day as a financial advisor and earn well. I am on the lookout of a likeminded partner who is lonely in her old age and would like to move in with me. My plan is to work for 11 months and then take off on a month’s vacation with her," says Shah who concedes his sons are okay with his decision. There are over 1,000 senior citizens who have applied for remarriages of which over 100 don’t mind a live-in relationship.
"I have got over 100 applications from men and some 20 women who are looking for companions," says Natubhai Patel of Vina Mulya Amulya Sewa (VMAS), a marriage bureau especially for the old. In not-so-urban Gondal in Rajkot district, Becharbhai Tyrewallah, is waiting for a call from the marriage bureau where he has applied for a live-in companion. Tyrewallah, who had a flourishing business of tyres, lives independently despite having five sons and two daughters. Read more.............
