'O Lord, give us a husband like Dhoni'

India's ODI cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name has featured in a devotional song aimed at maidens praying for life partners of their choice. The song forms part of a Bhojpuri album, Baba ke Nagariya Bada Pawan Lage La.

With the Hindi month of Shrawan currently on, the song featuring Dhoni is proving to be a hit. One can hear this song being played in several Lord Shiva temples in the city. Incidentally, unmarried girls visit the temples in large numbers during the month and pray for a suitable match.

Now here is a weird incentive being offered by one Jharkhand beauty parlour, which has offered incentives to clients based on the number of runs made by wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the World Cup.

Kaya, a beauty parlour in the Hariom Tower, first snipped a bit of spotlight for itself when Dhoni, who hails from Ranchi, had a haircut here last year.

'I am a great fan of Dhoni. I have offered incentives to my clients depending on the runs made by Dhoni. If he scores one run, the fans will get one percent rebate in haircut, shaving, dye, facial and other services,' said Vijay Modi, the owner of the saloon.

He said: 'If Dhoni scores 50 runs, then the clients will get a 50 percent rebate. And if he scores a century, the first five clients coming in can avail of free services and gifts.'

The incentives will last 'till India's chances are alive in the World Cup'.
