Bridge built to save monkeys

In Haveri district's Makanur village in Karnataka state of India, a modern Ramayana was scripted on Saturday evening when the villagers built a sethu (bridge) across the rising river Tungabhadra to save 30 monkeys stranded on the other side of the riverbank.
