"Bewakoof'" word translates into English as "Fool" or "Dumb". Calling somebody a 'bewakoof' is degenerating, but at Kacheri Chowk town in Giridih in Jharkhand state of India, it spells class when it comes to food.

Don't feel like a bewakoof if you are referred to the 'Bewakoof hotel' for good food while on a visit to the place famous for its salubrious climate with the Parasnath hills in the backdrop.

And its reputation for serving delicious food is corroborated by none others than two former Jharkhand ministers - Ravindra Rai and Chandra Mohan Prasad - who frequented it in the 70s.
