Student confesses after principal beat herself

Here is a case of a school principal at Idukki in Kerala state of India who beat herself before students to make them come clean on who stole prize money kept for winners at a sports meet.

"As soon as the theft was reported, she summoned senior boys and announced that she would beat herself as a punishment until the culprit came forward. On doing so, students pleaded with her not to punish herself for the misdeed of others. "
