Temple 'purified' after foreigner's entry

A 'purification' ritual was performed in the famous Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple on Sunday night after a British national entered it, despite his claim that he had converted to Hinduism. The temple thanthri (the traditional high priest) ordered 'punyaham' to be performed after it was found that the British national had worshipped in the shrine, where 'non-Hindus' are barred.
