Cockroach in the Soup

It came as a shock for the family of a senior army officer when a dead cockroach floated up in a bowl of tomato soup during lunch at a pizza outlet on S G Highway in Ahmedabad city in Gujarat state of India. The family had come to the restaurant in the afternoon and had ordered a full meal for themselves. "After finishing off with the salads, when I took up the soup bowl, I saw a cockroach sticking to bread crumbs in the soup," said an army official.
