Child addicted to World's hottest Chilli
As per the earlier post Indian 'Ghost Chilli' - world's hottest, 'Bhut Jolokia chilli' or 'Ghost Chilli' has been recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the hottest chilli on Earth. Interestingly a 17-month-old toddler in the eastern Indian state of Assam is addicted to the fiery Bhut Jolokia.
Jayanta Lahan's parents say the child, who lives in Romal village in Dibrugarh district, 500km east of Assam's main city Guwahati in India, happily munches his way through a handful of the chillies.
As per child's father, Ritul Lahan "On Monday, he ate about 50 Bhut Jolakias in about three to four hours without showing any signs of tears or burning sensation in his stomach."
Lahan said his son had eagerly devoured the chillies since he was eight months old.
