We have heard of drugs smuggling, gold smuggling , weapons smuggling but the railway police of Patna city in Bihar State of India have busted a racket of rare turtle smugglers. They have arrested a woman and recovered 38 live Ganga turtles from her possession. Value of these turtles is in Several Lakh Indian Rupees (Few thousand US$).

What they must be doing with these turtles is not known, may be exporting to some country where people might be using them as rare delicacy. May be some other reason. Readers are suggested to give their comments, what it's use can be other than eating them as a delicate dish. In India such cases are rare but it sheds the light that all unimaginable things do also happen in India.
