KOCHI: Giving a go-by to the craze for gold and diamond jewellery, a newly married couple here exchanged wedding vows wearing ornaments crafted from coconut shells.

Dressed in 'Chatta' and 'Mundu', the traditional attire of Roman catholics in Kerala, Elizabeth Varghese got married to Antony Chandy at the St Basilica church on Tuesday, adorned with ornaments made from coconut shells.
