Jaipur: His wedding ended even before it began. This bridegroom from Dausa district of Rajasthan began celebrating his marriage a little too early and arrived tipsy at the venue of the nuptials, where his bride refused to marry him, police said Monday.
The bridegroom and his father were drunk, and got into a scuffle with guests from the bride’s family. According to the police, the wedding was to take place Sunday night at Sainthal town, some 150 km from Jaipur. Read more.........

New Delhi: Yet another textbook in a CBSE school has sparked a controversy by allegedly insinuating that non-vegetarians lie, cheat and commit crimes, with the Government terming it as "unfortunate" and asking state bodies to remain alert about such content and monitor them.
"Sensitivities of communities have to be kept in mind. I think its unfortunate, an occasional aberration happens. But what I would request is that the state body should always be on alert just like how NCERT is on alert and monitor the content... CHITTORGARH: Authorities at Rajasthan's Chittorgarh railway station on Tuesday declared a cash reward of Rs 20,000 for anyone who can outsmart about 15 monkeys who have made the railway station their home.
The reward was announced as the railway authorities had tried to "evict" the monkeys, but failed. At their wits' end, and with no help from the forest department, the authorities decided to "outsource" the job.

Patna: A man in Bihar married his sister-in-law in the presence of the dead body of his wife, who lay in a postmortem room of a government hospital.
His deceased wife committed suicide after hanging herself from a ceiling fan on Wednesday.
