India is a country of 1.1 billion people. Millions in the country are jobless. People in general in India have nothing to be proud of, as millions live below the poverty line, there is corruption in most walks of the life, politicians don't give any confidence that they are running the country in a professional manner & trying to improve the lives of its people.

In all such scenario, if there was something that Indians felt Proud of, it was it's 'Cricket Team', as no other sport in India gave it's people any recognition on the world map. It was Cricket only which gave Indians once even the World Cup & many times, Indian Cricket team was able to defeat the strong teams of other countries. So common people of India made Indian Cricketers their Gods. Whether it was Sachin Tendulkar or Mahendra Singh Dhoni, people fell in love with them & expected wonders from every Team member of Indian Cricket team, every time.

Now with the disappointing performance of their Gods in the World Cup, Indian people are heart broken & many have tried to vent their feeling by protesting on the streets. Below are few pictures of the protesting Indian Cricket fans. Though it is natural to get emotional after seeing the Indian cricket team got ousted from the World Cup, fans in India should realize that it's a game only & we should not show emotional outbursts on the streets & in no way we should harm any cricketer, their family members or the house & property of their heroes whom they worshipped like Gods few days ago. Pl. realize that Indian Cricketers are "Human Beings " only & not the "Gods".
