Here is an interesting story about bullfighting / bull-taming festival in South India, where this year a ban has been put on such bulls and men taming these bulls, who consumed alcohol or other banned substances. Bulls and bullfighters were both breath analyzed in a bid to slash the number of injuries.

Last year more than 400 people were hurt during the festival when people try to tame running bulls by grabbing the animal's horns or their distinctive hump. The bulls and the fighters are often fed with large amounts of a local brew, known as arrack, at the festival in the southeastern state of Tamil Nadu.

But this year the number of injuries have reduced to just 60 after authorities introduced medical tests for the first time. "Seven bulls and four men were disqualified during tests to detect consumption of alcohol or other banned substances," district collector T. Udayachandran said. Apart from breath analyzer tests, authorities also took blood or looked into the bulls' eyes to see if they were drunk.
