Unicef Poster Girl to get Education
As per earlier post 'UNICEF's Poster Girl Toils In Eatery' dated November, 21, 2006, it was told that how a small girl who's picture has been used on a UNICEF Poster for abolition of child labor is working in an eatery / dhaba in Patna in Bihar state of India. Due to all the media coverage of this news, Bihar government has woken up & has decided to enroll Unicef poster-girl Choonam Kumari alias Chuhiya in a formal school to help her study, free of cost. It seems Bihar government does something only when things go against it, as in this case.
