BAREILLY: An organisation of Sunni Muslim clerics here have termed as 'haraam' the uploading of photos on the internet for matrimonial purpose and on social networking sites.

KOLKATA: In a disturbing sign for the education sector in Bengal, a school headmistress and 14 teachers were locked up for 22 hours by a band of students demanding that they all be passed despite flunking the pre-board test. GAYA: Nearly 300 child beggars jostle with visitors, particularly Europeans and Americans, visiting Bodh Gaya in the tourist season mostly with 'no father, no mother, one dollar please' plea and in the process mar the country as well as state's image. According to media reports, Krishna Pal on Wednesday, Dec 12 (12-12-12) "jumped from atop a water tank and fell about 80 feet to his death".
